I'm ROSSing it!

Two days before my trip to Miami I went to ROSS in Hamilton (Rt. 130).   I was so surprised to see all the great new Designer Brands they have added in the past year.  They had Kensi, Romeo & Juliet, Juicy Couture and Michael Kors.   The prices, GREAT!  I got a Kensi Jumpsuit in Blue for $24.99 and a Juicy Couture sweatsuit for $80 which compared to Sak's price is GREAT.  They also had racks full of beautiful Michael Kor's, BCBG and Juicy Couture Handbags for at least  65% off the regular price.   In addition, they had these designers' watches and sunglasses. 

Ross has really come up in the past years.  So Fab!!!

birds and grass

I’m trying a new approach to the images on the boat vases: grass with the sky looming behind, a bird cutting across the summer blue, a single butterfly hovering above a tulip. They all remind me of lazy summers as a kid at my grandmother’s dacha.

MIAMI HEAT!! and Your Spring Break Vacation Necessities!!

Up early this morning.  Trying to get all my Summer Gear for my trip to Miami tomorrow.  I will be there for about two weeks.  A business and pleasure trip :).  Ahhhhhhh, nothing like being in the sexiest city in the world!  So that means I have to get my favorite sexy and fabulous summer things.  I know Spring Break is here.  What should you bring to a warm weather location?   

Black or Brown Oversized Sunglasses - with no logos please if it is not a Real (not fake :(!!) Top Designer (i.e. Dior, Gucci, etc.) don't do it. 

A big metallic bag to use as your beach bag - Metallic is sooo IN especially with accessories!! or maybe a Big Shopping Bag - the material kind.  They have a whole lot of cool ones and they are super cheap and cool.

A bottle of SPF 15 - you still Tan and minus wrinkles! ;) 

This is my FAVE and you can get cheap - just check on Ebay, Amazon.com or discount make-up Stores like the Cosmetic Company.

Old Navy Flip Flops in Black, White and Silver or Gold.  They go with any outfit! And they are inexpensive.  Sometimes they go on Sale for $1!!!  Check with your local Old Navy!

A Basic Black, Metallic and Print (Animal Print!!)  Bikini or Bathing Suits.  Yeah you can't go wrong with at least three suits.  Black never goes out of style!!! Metallic and Animal Print are the hottest trends for the summer and what will make you stand out and be fabulous!!!!

 

Jumpsuits Have to be the Hottest New Trend.  For the summer the short ones are great!  They can go over your bikini/bathing suit or by itself for the club with stillettos of course :)

A Pair of Hot Summer Heels!!  Strappy ones keep popping up on most of the top designer's summer lines and wedges are always hot!

The Panama Hat! aka Straw Fedora! This is a Summer Hat Must!  It's Chic, it's sexy with your long locks and basic black bikini/bathing suit!

Some Brunch/Morning after the Club Summer Dresses - Flowy and Comfy

Evening Sexy Dresses! One Shoulder and Super Short!!! and something sequence a tank with skinny jeans or super short skirt!!!

Accessories!!!!!  Bangles, Bangles and more Bangles! Oh and a pair of Hoops can go from day to evening!

Now What MAKE -UP should you bring??

Waterproof Mascara!!!  Volume!! - Dior Iconic or LancomeVirtuose Mascara

These cost more but they don't flake like the pharmacy brands.  On this you should spend your money! 

Nude Lips - Avon or Revlon

A natural Bronzer - Cream preferred doesn't look fake or dry 

Moisturizer SPF 15 - Avon

Pink Blush -

Eyes: Turquoise, Gold, Coral and Bronze are the Summer Hot Colors!

LA Color Eyeshadows have great pigment and you can find it at CVS, Duane Read, Walgreens for less than $5 bucks!

HAIR!  Beachy Waves so simple

Get a water bottle fill it up with salty ocean water.   spray on towel dried hair - All over.  Then scrunch up and dry to hairspray with an attached diffuser!  Fab hair!!!

Sleek Ponytail or fat bun on back or always hot! and easy!

All this with a towel, pjs and mini toiletries should fit in your carry-on bag!  You are ready for Spring Break!  Enjoy!!

cup and saucer

I created a custom cup for a friend who liked the idea of "xo" appearing at the bottom of a cup of hot chocolate. The saucer just begged to go with the cup, and now all are happy on her kitchen shelf.
